Herpes Virus is a terrible virus, if not for my Husband and the help of the great Dr. Ehi my life would have been a mess! I was diagnose with Herpes virus in 2020, my husband encouraged me, and told me not to lose hope, I manage to give birth to a baby Boy who was free from this virus, and my Husband was always there for me! One day he came to me and told me that he have found a man who can cure me. Base on scientist, they said there is no cure for Herpes virus; he told me that he has seen many testimonies about him on the internet. I've been going here for years. My last visit was definitely my least favorite. I had been telling the staff I was getting braces the same day elsewhere. I had to wait to be seen awhile. Once I was in the chair, I waited for services much longer than the treatment even took. I even had to push back my orthodontist appointment. Once I saw the orthodontist, he couldn't but the braces on because fluoride was placed on my teeth. I told the staff about me getting braces the same day and fluoride on my teeth meant brackets weren't going to bond. Had to go back to orthodontist the next day. Needless to say, I wasn't happy with serviced rendered. My experiences here are typically positive, but not this time.

I came to Oakland Smile because I had lost a 40 year old crown, and had dental insurance they accepted. I found the staff to be very professional, their technology to be state of the art, and their diagnosis to be exactly what I expected. My only issue is the options offered for the crown repair. They are either a root canal, and subsequent crown replacement, or an implant. Obviously, the implant is the best long term solution, but neither of these take into account my age (78), nor my finances. The better solution, I would think, would be to include a bridge ( as I will ultimately need to replace all four front upper teeth), or a partial denture. Overall, I'm pleased with the service I received, but would have been happier with more comprehensive options.

Great Type of Care Care Quality Office Experience I chose Dr. Amir Amari, Oakland Smile Dental through Delta care USA/ Kaiser permanente because when I called to inquire about dental care, the staff member on the phone was professional, very pleasant and calming, which helped me to feel calm, because I was very anxious even talking about getting any dental work because I'm very sensitive to pain. So I set up appointment and when I arrived for the appointment the staff was just as pleasant and welcoming as they were on the initial phone call. Elia the RDA, who was my first contact in the dental chair represents Dr. Amari very well. She's the best. Then comes the Doctor Amari, calm, assuring and willing to listen to my needs and my questions. If you got to go to the dentist, I would highly recommend Oakland Smile Center. By the way, my first visit, I got an examination, my teeth deep cleaned, and one of my wisdom tooth pulled including a Bone Graft. They don't waste time. My second visit I got fillings for two of my wisdom teeth. I'm on my way to a healthy mouth pain-free. Dr Amari and team gets five stars

I met Dr. Amiri yesterday! I don't normally post reviews, but this one feels necessary. Since moving to California, all my dentists have been located with those big box, chain offices. The professionals at those offices were lovely. And, getting an appointment and keeping an appointment always seemed to be a struggle. Plus, once I got to the appointment, I was surprised when I was told I needed to schedule another, separate appointment for a cleaning. I assumed this was just par for the course in the Bay. Well, earlier this week, I was looking for a new dentist and used Google to find Oakland Smile Dental. I called to make an appointment, and they got me in same-week (amazing). The staff person I spoke with took time to give me an estimate, too. I went to my appointment and learned that in addition to a routine cleaning, I would need two minor fillings. No numbing needed. Dr. Amiri shocked me when he said, "We can do it all right now." His staff was so kind and professional. Fatimah explained everything to me as she was doing it, and the technology she used to get xrays and images of my mouth was pretty neat. Dr. Amiri was fast and personable. The procedure was painless. I am thrilled and relieved to have found Oakland Smile Dental. I have another appointment in 6 months!

My family absolutely loves everything about this place. I grew up in MA and am used to having the privilege of some of the bests dentists in the country, and as a result have high standards when it comes to dentistry. I’ve been coming to Oakland Smile Dental for years, and so has my daughter. The dentistry is fantastic, rivaled only by the awesome front office. The Manager Liz is amazing and we’ve gotten to know each other over time because of how warm and welcoming she is. Our daughter is always excited to go in and talk with her. Imagine that, a kid that enjoys going to the dentist. Jessica at the front desk is also amazing and very friendly. As for the hygienist, Selam, whom has been doing my cleanings for some time, I can’t say enough about her. She is very professional and excellent at what she does. I know I’m in good hands with her, and as with her coworkers, she’s very friendly and pleasant to be around. Dr. Amiri is an outstanding doctor as well, and pleasant to chat with. As I’m writing this review, I’m coming to realize how lucky I am to have found this dentist’s office. Most offices I’ve been to have either consummate dentists or nice people, but OSD is the best of both worlds. A huge 5 stars for Oakland Smile Dental!!!

The staff is very friendly and they are very upfront about their prices and treatment plans which I find extremely refreshing as most places in have been to are very wishywashy about giving you direct quotes. I've been coming here for 4-5 years now and am very happy with Oakland Smile Dental as my provider. My dental hygiene and teeth are of utmost importance to me. Dr. Amiri is very professional and is very friendly. I also feel very comfortable with the staff (hygienists, dental assistants, and front desk) and everyone is very warm and welcoming each time when I come in. The office is very clean and I take note of how equipment is used and disinfected in between patients (which is extremely important to me). Everything seems pretty modern and equipped with up to date technology. The office hours are pretty flexible and accommodating to my schedule, which is also important since I come from either Marin County (where I work) or Solano County (where I live). Although I have dental insurance, sometimes when I need additional services (like antibiotic treatments to prevent infections or laser treatments) that cost more than I anticipate spending, the office is pretty flexible with letting me arrange 2 payments so it isn't so financially overwhelming. I highly recommend this office and look forward to returning each quarter for my routine maintenance (PMT)!

I was thrilled with my experience here! The appointment was for my two daughters(10 & 5). My 10yr old has had some bad experiences in the past with the dentist. She felt totally comfortable and was really happy that we went. My 5 yr old LOVED every moment she was there. When we left she asked when we got to back!!! The staff were personable and made us feel so welcomed and comfortable. The dentist made me feel like I was talking to an old friend about the best way to go about handling some of my older daughters dental issues. We look forward to our next visit at Oakland Smile Dental!!!!!!

As a 13 year old child,I hate going to the dentist,but Oakland Smile Dental have great friendly staff and it wonderful dentist staff helps the experience like braces or even having cavities less painful and agonizing .The staff is very proficient and very concerned with the patient wellbeing. This place is amazing, you will not be disappointed. From the front desk to the back examination rooms, this is where you want your dental work done. I reached out to Oakland Smile dental for the first time roughly 3 years ago. After neglecting the dentist for over two years, I finally encountered some dental pain that forced me to go see a dentist. I’m happy I chose this place as they were able to help me with my immidiate pain, but also changed my life. I ended up getting a deep cleaning after having a crown put on. That deep cleaning really showed me what I was missing. For the last 3 years, I have maintained my teeth and have my check ups every 6 months. I really feel like my current oral hygiene would not be where it is without their encouragement. Big shout out to the entire Oakland Smile team. Especially Salem and Liz.

I have been Dr Amiri's dental patient for almost 14 years . I was not blessed with very good teeth and have had problems with my teeth as far back as I remember . Dr Amiri has taken care of my teeth as well as my family in his Oakland, CA and is Laurel Smile Dental in San Francisco in Laurel Village. He is a great dentist with great bedside manner . He has done multiple crowns, a root canal and an implant for me . He even called me at home after my dental procedure to make sure I was doing ok . He is the best and most caring dentist I know in Oakland and in San Francisco. I recommend home and his office highly .

I always like and enjoy visiting Dr. Hamid Amiri's office. The ladies are so nice, professional and super friendly. On Thursday, August 16, 2018 I went for my 3-month periodontal cleaning and I needed to have an Arestin on tooth number 14. I had a deep pocket on that tooth, eventually would and could cause severe bone loss. However, Salem, the hygienist is great, honest, detailed and thorough. Salem, recommended that I should have the Arestin procedure done. However, I did not have the money at the time the procedure would have been $125.00. I discuss my situation with the office manager, Marriza and Liz and those two beautiful and sweet ladies worked a miracle for me I was able to get my Arestin done at a much lower reasonable price. I was sooo elated and happy because my teeth and gums means everything to me. Thanks again Marissa, Liz and Salem you all deserve a raise. Kudos to Oakland Smile Dental Office. Yes, I highly recommend this office. 10 stars!!!!!

Dr Aminiri is very nice and a great dentist . The office is well equipped with the latest technology. I had an implant there, a crown and change my filling from metal to white tooth color . Very happy with my results. I also did teeth whitening . I have been a patient for a few years now.
